Wish List and Greatest Needs
Although the Town of Sunnyvale provides funding for basic library services to the community, the library is also seeking private contributions for special projects that are not feasible due to their costs and budgetary constraints. A WISH LIST has been created in an effort to let the public be aware of what is needed and how to make a real and tangible difference to Sunnyvale Public Library patrons. If you or your organization or group would like to help fund any of the projects listed below, you may either purchase the item(s) yourself or make a monetary contribution and the library will purchase the item(s) per your request. Your tax deductible gift greatly enhances the services the library provides to the public.
Thank you for your support in choosing to better the community in this special way!
To learn more about the items on the WISH LIST, contact Library Assistant Renee McGee at 972-226-4491 or libraryassist@townofsunnyvale.org.

Building Renovation & Expansion Project - $1,000,000
As any visitor to the library has experienced, our greatest need is space, space and more space! Although we would love to have a totally new state-of-the-art building closer to the center of Town, it is just not possible at this time due to the economic circumstances. Hopefully some day in the not to distant future, a bond election will be held and our dream library will become a reality. But until then, an expansion project is our best hope. You may drop by the library to see the ideas we have come up with.

Laptop Computers
The staff needs laptop computers to be able to attend continuing education classes, to take inventory and to loan to patrons for use in the library when there are no openings at the public access computers.
